Apple Spotlight – Pixie Crunch

One of the sweetest tasting apples in our orchard is the Pixie Crunch. This apple was meant for tiny hands (children) and fresh eating. The apple packs a delightful, crunchy crispness and mouth-watering flavor. While we suggest the apple for fresh eating right off the tree, the apples' delectable sweetness work wonders in no-sugar pies and baked goods which cook up tender every single time.

Pixie Crunch is often compared to Honeycrisp, but is much sweeter. A bonus is that it's also an easier tree to grow. The trees mature in late August and can handle late frosts much better than other apple varieties.
