“But They’re Not all Heirloom Apples….”

One of the criticisms we get from time-to-time is that we market ourselves as a heirloom apple nursery, but many of our apples are of a newer variety. For example, currently, we have Grimes Golden, Red Royal Limbertwig, and several other heirloom apples growing alongside Gala and Honeycrisp in our nursery. So why don’t we just grow all heirloom apples?
The answer is incredibly simple. We look at our business as a way to share the excitement of planting new trees. While we enjoy keeping heirloom apple trees available and thriving, we also understand that not everyone wants a heirloom tree. Everyone has a favorite apple; we like to try to offer the opportunity for you to plant your favorite apple tree, whether it be a heirloom tree or a newer variety.
So, whether you want to plant an old favorite from your childhood, or you’d like to plant a variety that can be found in the grocery store, we’re here to help you on your journey.
